Multiple receipt notices for same forms

    Hi,

This is going back a couple months but I just looked at my receipts I received in the mail and I remember they sent me like 9 seperate envelopes for the four applications I submitted. They all seem to be identical and have the same receipt numbers on them.

I received 3 seperate letters with receipts for the I-131.
    2 for the I 130.
    2 for the I 485.
    And 2 for the I 765...

Is this normal? has this ever happened to anyone?

I have since gotten my biometrics taken...

Also, can anyone tell me what the different codes are for biometrics and their meaning? I got code 3 does that mean anything for me?
    Thanks, Chaim
