Stuck in Name Check - PLEASE READ

Guys and Gals,

I see a lot of immigrants suffering due to "Name Check" issues. At this time I am not sure if my case is stuck in Name Check but I have been keeping a close tab on a lot of threads that deal with Name Check issues. I have saved all these threads and have decided to post a link to these threads so people can read up on this issue, get informed and make the right decision. Here is the list of Name Check threads that I found to be very helpful. I hope some of you are able to resolve this issue using the information in one of these threads. Some of these deal with citizenship issues but they are still helpful.

Hey Y'all - I just called the FBI name check phone number and the nice lady at the other end of the line said that the phone number was discontinued, and that the e-mail service was no longer in use since they had over 7000 e-mails!!!

How are people supposed to check and see if their name has been cleared??

Same happens to me too, thats why I created another thread to see if we can get some latest phone numbers or email id, but I did not get any reply. I am trying to get some info by reading fbi and related web sites.

I called local FBI and the duty agent was very nice, but he said he does not have access to the info. I will have to try another local office.

Please post if you get any info.

There are a lot of problems with the processing system , name check , files left behind or lost , moving files around from a place to another place , how we know what they doing there if they don't know what they are doing ???!!!
It is sad , but in the end we all have to deal with this !!!
Hopefully they wake up and do the things right !!!
