Hi Abelle,

does the 540 approved mean that
there were 540 approved for Notice dates in dec 2003
or
there were 540 approved by NSC in dec 2003 for all notice dates

So only 5 new approvals in the last week for Dec 2003 people. Wonder whether that's because Dec 2003 applications are almost all clears, which I seriously doubt, or NSC prioritized the queues differently last week.

Between Feb 16 - Feb 22, the Received drops from 288 to 281, it seems that they touched 7 cases a week, one case a day, pretty organized.

abelle, I ran the scanner for a different date. What do you see when an application is denied? I'm surprised I haven't run into any of them, or maybe I just don't know what to look for.

At this rate, it will be another 40 weeks before NSC can clear up Dec 2003 cases. Sounds promising. :-)

Well, my scan showed several Apr '04 cases being approved so it looks like processing is fairly random (or harder to adjudicate cases just take longer and those clear-cut cases get approved quickly). I'm sure every case is so different.

Seven Dec 2003 cases in one day. That's more like it. At this rate, another 40 work days (2 months) should clear up all Dec 2003 cases.

For me too It is hard to be with 2003 application still pending, seeing soo many 2004 approvals.

stupid question, what do these numbers mean? Does it mean that there are 4 more got approved in three days from March 4-7? Then why the RFE changed from 60 to 58? Received changed from 256 to 254?

I think it makes perfect sense. There are two cases from "Received " to "Approved", and another two cases are from "RFE Sent" to "Approved". It means that their RFE are satisfied .

If that is the case, the total number of unprocessed cases is 254+16+63+58+8=399, and this is not including the pending cases of Sept, Oct, and Nov.

That's true, any cases which are not approved or denied are considered "Pending"

So, 231 more to go for Dec 03 ? With this pace, when would NSC process July 04 cases ? Phew........ I guess long long way to go!
