Hi everyone,

I finally received my Green Card. My 485 was approved on July 31st and USCIS sent the card to my old address (I moved on July1st). Even though I had filed AR-11 and USCIS address udpate, the card was sent to the old address, sent back to USCIS and resent last week to my new address.

I feel so relieved. Everyone out there, hang in, you will get it soon.

I am now travelling to India for the first time on a Green Card since 8 years that I've been in the US.

Finally....I got E-mails about my I485. My 485 is approved and card production ordered. & Card Mailed.....Thanks everyone for all your help and support.

Since my I-140 stuck for no reason for past 2 and half years , I field another Labor and I-140 also, but with Gods grace this I-140 cleared and My I-485 also….

Current Status: Card Mailed

On October 16, 2007, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.

Dear all,

I got the big news yesterday: my I485 has been approved and the notice was mailed !!!!

I feel like I lost 10 points in my blood pressure and fresh like Curt Shilling or A-Rod: I am now a free agent !!!!

All I can say, at least in my case, is that the WOM is what made it. We had filed at the end of July and I received a request for my 2nd FP in early September. My mandamus got to a district attorney with an answer due on October 14th. The TSC resisted and refused to expedite so the DA filed for a 30 day extension (until Nov 14th) by my lawyer told me yesterday that it had been approved. I am not sure, but maybe the fact that it is a Massachusetts DA helped.

Hold on and best of luck to all of you. Thank you for all the valuable information and experience exchanges. I will let you know when the GCs arrive.
