Thread: Santa Ana - tracker

  1. Santa Ana - tracker

    Hello friends,

I have recently filed I130/I485/EAD/AP at santa ana district office. Please update your timelines if you have filed your applications recently. This will help us to keep track of progress and approvals.

(or if already a thread running for santa ana filings , please let me know)

    Thanks
    milpride

i have heard from several people that in california centre, you are gettin you EAD and AP in exact 3 weeks, FP in 2 to 3 weeks and whole 485 being approbed in 6 to 12 weeks. only for new applicants...thanks

  3. Thanks for your response.

Any idea on when & where your friends filed, because there are quite a few district offices in california and apparently each one of them have their own timelines.

my attorney said it will take 6 to 9 months. Interestingly, you are talking about timelines in week.

Anybody else in the same boat?

Obviously desi74 doesn't know what he/she is talking about.

Since you hired an attorney, you can always ask him/her about the progress of other cases he/she is handling and that were filed before yours. Get your money's worth IMHO that's the best "tracker"

well i know what i am talking about.....i was also surprised when one of my colleagues told me that one of his friend 's485 is approved in 8 weeks....i have no idea if he is lying to me but why wud he...i simply refused to believe him but he told me that this is a new Pilot program going through the testing phase stage in california servic centres......under this plan, BCIS will be bounded to decide your 485 case within 12 weks no matter wHAT.....this process is goin through its testing phases by implementing in CSC.....right now CSC is applying this model on some new applicants to see if it is possible to decide a 485 case in 12 weeks....

  6. Thanks for your feedback, GeorgeF & Desi74.

I am really surprised to know that there is no one in this forum who has filed I485/I130 in Santa Ana office recently.

There are not that many people on this forum (relatively) compared to other forums (not immigration related).

But this is not the same. You may try to go to Google and search "Groups" (on the to next to images). You may try to search for "Santa Ana I-485" or so. Just remember to make sure to search groups.

There's another forum at immigration.about.com but that's kind of quiet too after they "improved" their web-site so the link to the forum is hard to find.

    Another useful one is BritishExpats.

As I mentioned before, utilize your lawyer. He/She must have another cases like yours and can tell you how are those progressing.

    Happy waiting

    we applied at Los angeles

    rd: 8/27/04

    ead appt: 10/19/04

    fp appt: 11/3/04

not exactly 12 weeks don't you think????

nothing in cis gets approved in 12 weeks

also more people would have heard something like that by now.

  9. Thanks GeorgeF, that information was really helpful. I found quite a few useful forums in google groups.

bbb_555 thanks for posting your timeline....I guess LA office is gaining momentum lately...seems like they are just 5 months behind the schedule...which is better than it used to be...
