    *** Start company on H1 and Sponsor Visa ****

    1. I am a H1B visa holder and want to start a company.
    2. I want to Sponsor my cousins H1b visa. Is this possible?

    Please let me know what is required. Thanks in advance

    qualified Yes

    Although H1 holders are not prevented from starting a company, they cannot receive any compensation other than from the h1 EMPLOYER. So how are you going to prove that your company can support your employees? You need a cpa who knows immigration laws..

    May be possible, but tricky

    Your company will need to show that it is legitimate and that the job offer is real (that normally means a showing of available work and the ability to pay the offered wage. That can be tricky for startups but contracts can help.
