    reply from director of immigration

I sent an email to above addres(REPLY, Immigration [Immigration.Reply@dhs.gov]) with subject to Personal attention to Director .

Telling him about our situation bc;zo of dealys and backlog in 485 processing.

I just got reply in 1 line
    that

    working 12/01 cases now.

I have complained then about CSC center as they have backlog
So I think 12/01 cases should start gettin approval.

I think he was only telling you what was already on the USCIS web site - that the JIT is 12/16/01.

It means that we are still trying to finish adjudicating the cases filed
    that month ...

    Yes, it is slow ...

But that is what is says on website since last 5 months.
So does that mean there is no approval after that or no one is working on
    485 cases.

    Thanks in advance

CSC people- take heart from TSC

If you guys are complaining about 12/01 you should look at TSC. It is still 4/01 and many people mention , they are even before that. I'm not saying this makes CSC better or your suffereings any less , but be happy and optimistic. We will sail out the rough seas.

And you think just being "happy and optimistic" will change the situation? If we are not pro-active enough to demand for approvals there is no way that our applications will be approved, and we will end up with the same kind of backlogs as TSC. We have to make concrete efforts to speed up processing and pressurize Congress into making this a reality or else we are doomed for sure!

Have you noticed that TSC processed in January 2003 cases filed on 11/1/2000, in January 2004 TSC processes case filed on 4/01/2001. Processing time moved ahead on 5 months in TSC, when CSC have moved only on 1 month. VSC already passed CSC last year. Soon CSC will be even worse than TSC.
