    AILA is just a lobbying organization for the benefit of lawyers and their clients ( industry, tourism, states lacking nursing facilities etc.) 485 has nothing to do with either of them..... who gives a d**n for the people who actually do the work ?

    When we ourselves are not bothered ...then how can we expect others to help us...the right way is to generate awareness , collect funds and start lobbying...

    AILA

    Guys,

    Do not expect AILA in an unrelated to some extent press release mention the Employment based backlogs. Keep campaigning and it will come. Whether we like it or not AILA has access to the USCIS officials (see related items in ACTION). let us use this access in a constructive way. It is true that AILA lobbied for MORE MONEY and doing away with the RE_ADJUDICATION process. This was done in the Migration Policy Institute forum, where the AILA president participated.

    Go to www.mpi.org for the reference. See which other people participated, like ex INS directors..

    Money: (from MPI). The 100 million dollars for BACKLOGS are for CITINZENSHIP backlogs as reported there..This is USCIS director recent theme also..make more citizens..

    Let us study, analyze, research and then post any mail campaigns. Send e-mails to MPI officials also as well as other imigration think tanks. These have access to USCIS and some power to change things.

    AILA= ALL IRRESPONSIBLE LAWERS ASSOCIATION.

    They never fought for the real cause. Are I-485 EB clients are not their clients...???

    The Immi. Lawers simple apply..they donot have any problem ..just to blame BCIS/USCIS for baklogs rather than asking to reduce the backlogs...

    Happy Christmas and Great New Year !!! to AILA.

    thanks
