We can apply for citizenship immediately after getting GC.

Thanks for your offering.

I think that it doesn't need right now
and that it does't matter the number of faxes being large (of course, unless it being too small).
The goal of faxing is:
Congresswoman and her staff actually receive several requests so that they can not ignore our request.

Once it will step forward to the next stage,
I'd like everyone in all states to send a letter and our petition to each Congressional office.

Thanks for your following up.

I have just faxed my letter to Ms. Alis Aguirre, and I will call her on Monday.

As I have no time to describe the detail right now, I will update at the main thread of Project Ocean.

As I posted at Project Ocean main thread,
I received a letter from Congresswoman Anna Eshoo this morning,
and surprisingly, CSC Director Don Neufeld's letter was enclosed
(even though his backlog reduction plan for EB I-485 was not enough).
I think this is the first response from one of USCIS management.

This was the first fax campaign targetting a specific Congressperson in late October 2003,
and at the town hall meeting held on 11/10/2003, Anna Eshoo promised me to write to Don Neufeld.
She wrote to Don Neufeld on 11/11/2003,
and finally, he replied to Congresswoman on 12/22/2003.

I believe every single fax supported this campaign and that we can achieve one of our goals.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL PARTICIPANTS !!

However, this is not a final one but just a first step.
Also, there are a couple of discreditable points in his plan.
Our fight will continue until everyone get a green card
ant it should be within a year.
