You can file 2 nd 140 and attach it to the existing 485... There are lot people did it succussfully applying 2nd 140 and attached to existing 485 to convert from eb3 to eb2. I do not see any difference. only issue would be if you are applying both 140's from same company with...
Missed couple of times already
O well... i missed the train couple of times already . Jan 2005 india eb3 retorgessed.. became current in march 2005 and unavailable july 2005 then moved to 1998 in october 2005 . converted to eb2 this Feb with no luck.i have a feeling that eb2 140 is not linked...

I also thought they will not do it with out official notice. Any body has done it before ? Thanks in advance
I called USCIS, and I was told that my case is with officer, and Fingure Prints are expired. any body in the same boat ?? how long does it take to get fingure prints ?

Company A (consulting firm) labor Eb3 priority date Jan 2002,
Moved to Company B filled Eb2 with priority date October 2002
Company A (Eb3) was approved in September 2003, Moved back to Company A applied 140 & 485 in dec 2003

It should not take more than 15 business days. I applied eb2 140 recently in premimum processing and got apporval in 11 days. My attorney got the approval though uscis online status e still says 'pending'. check with u r attorney.
