Im a little worried about my my package....
In August 04 I my wife filed the I-130 and was approved in Mid september.
I dropped the rest of my application( adjustment of status,EAD travel etc.) In SAN JOSE on the 6th of January...
It is now november 2nd...and no news, checks havent been...

I dropped my package in Jan 6, its now the 30th...They havent cashed, or sent me a notice.Has the San Jose office lost any packages yet? I hope they havent lost mine...any of you know if theres a hotline or anything i can call?

I just got this notice (I-797C) telling me that my petition has been approved, I was wondering if i could file my Adjustment of status already using that document..Incase you were wondering.....NO i did not send all of the application at once...
I recieved a notice that my I-130 is approved and that they sent it to the NVC...now i wanna about how long till i get a visa number so I can apply for adjustment of status....BTW im already in the US(legally as canadian tourist)... I should have sent all my applications at once...
Do you think its faster for them to process it here in canada rather than in the US (San Jose,CA)??Because Im about to leave for the US on tuesday to fill and file my papers...

Well heres my case, i dont need a visa to enter and exit the US.I can either send it IN or OUT of the US. But I sent my I-130 alone without the AOS papers, now i have to wait till a visa number is available, now how long does that take? Or can I file it anyways?? thats what i need to know.
