Raju,
Apologize for the off-topic post but I needed some quick advice and was looking for an active thread were you'd posted (blame it on your reputation;).
A quick question about the notarized employment support letter from the current employer that we are supposed to submit during the...
Employment support letter
Tumpi, Alren, (or anyone who's gone through the process)
Have a quick question about the notarized employment support letter from the current employer. Do we need just one original letter or two sets of originals?
The reason I'm asking this is that one of the...

Sada is right if the PD regresses it's a double whammy for the ones going for CP. They won't get the interview and they can't file for their I-485 until the PD becomes current.
Talk about begin shot after getting raped. If you find a cheap one way ticket to India I'm in too.
Sada,
I feel the pain and so do most of us in this situation. I find it ironic that they want the immigrants to infuse fresh blood into the country but thanks to their archaic immigration policies the immigrants are sapped of whatever drive, initiative they had prior to coming to this...
I know a lot of us might be curious about how much the PD's have fluctuated in the past. That will atleast give us some indication of how long the wait can be if we happen to be affected. At the risk of being sued for plagiarism (copied the info from another thread on this forum) I'm reproducing...
I know where you're going with this but based on whatever I know it doesn't matter if one's case has been forwarded to the consulate and that the person is waiting for an interview (although I sure wish that was the case). If the interview has not been scheduled then the consulate has not...
Sorry, not sure if I understood your question but I'll take a shot anyways. I485 or consular, if the dates regress then it affects everybody whose PD falls later than the published date.
The latest update from Shusterman.com:
Note that they've changed their verbiage from "will most likely regress" to "will regress". On a lighter note, love the "Axis of Anxiety" reference.

EB Numbers Will Backlog in January - Strategic Planning
Sometime within the next few days, the...
Folks,
I'm creating this thread for those of us who are in EB3 category and are expecting a Jan/Feb interview. Since the next 2 weeks are critical for all of us so let's share every bit of useful information. This thread can be used to track any updates/news and more specifically, to track...
Hi Raju,
Thanks for your elaborate reply. My attorney isn't interested in seeing the documents (PCC) in advance. I suspect she might not be aware of the new P3 and her understanding might be based on the old P3 which was much more elaborate than the new one.
Thanks for allaying my fears as...
A couple of quick PCC related questions for the resident experts:
1) At what stage during the CP process do we need the PCC?
2) Am I required to send my original passport while sending the PCC request to the consulate (@ Chicago). When I called them today they said a copy of my Passport...
Appan,
Get hold of the copy of the approved I-140 from your lawyer. The copy will mention whether the service center will be forwarding your case to NVC or not.

Congratulations, Sada.
I'm once again making a request for the benefit of others that we please include the date of I-140 approval, the service center and other relevant details.
It helps those who are waiting for their NVC case #s to be created to spot a trend.
Thanks.
IFL
Yes, I did contact NVC. They mentoined that they haven't received my case as yet and asked me to contact them after 90 days yada, yada...
NSC seems to have slowed down and so far I haven't heard about any I-140 case approved during this past June or later which has been forwarded to the NVC...
Folks,
For the benefit of others can we please include the date of I-140 approval & the service center.
Am in the same boat as many others. I-140 approved on June 9th 2004 from NSC but NVC has not received my case so far.
Lately there seems to be a distressing trend of delays by NSC...
Hi Baldoor,
It's good to know someone whose case is so similiar to mine. Welcome to the club :) I live in Michigan so I'm not too far from where you live.
As far as I know, we'll need the PCC and the BC during the final stage (Packet 4) and when we appear for the actual interview. I'll...
Hi there,
Due to a glitch in my labor certification I'd to file within EB3 category instead of EB2. This proved to be a boon for me as my application was approved roughly within a month since EB3 in NSC is the fastest category as of now. FYI, I filed for my I-140 on May 3rd and the...
