Working for another company
I am on H1B Visa right now and is applying for adjustment of status as I am married to a US Citizen. Can I work for another company or start my own consultancy while I wait for work authorisation to come through? Many Thanks- vibs73

I have been in the US since March 1999 on H1B Visa and my H1B expires in March 2005. My fiancee is a US citizen and we are getting married next month in the US court and soon after will leave for India to have a traditional hindu wedding.
