You should avoid CPT at all costs. CPT nowadays is a recipe for disaster, due to massive abuse by fake universities like TVU, UNVA, Herguan, ITU, etc.

I hope you realize that you posted in a thread that is over a year old. Somebody who got an NTA back in 2011 and didn't respond to it for over a year is most likely already deported... The main thing of course is to never sign up with frauds like TVU, UNVA, Herguan, ITU, and similar diploma mills.

You can only use automatic visa revalidation for travel that ends in Canada. You can not travel anywhere else from Canada. You would then need a new visa to enter the US. And the border people will know if you traveled outside of Canada.
