Just wanted to update my first hand experience. I entered India after 3 weeks stay outside India.
This 2 month rule is ONLY applicable to long term Tourist Visa. NOT applicable to OCI/PIO.
Thanks for your response. Even though it should be the case, It was not clarified anywhere whether OCI will be treated as long term visa.

Applied at MHA in person, Collected it today, OCI were never shown received at office online. they said it usually about 10 days from print days.

I have seen lot of people applying for just one. I did the same.
I always had intentions of going back to my home country. So for us citizenship was a way to get back in without much hassle(spouse gets GC in about 4-6 months) in case we wanted to.

What do you mean by back and forth. Can you transfer money from India->US just like you can transfer dollars from US to rupees in India? or there are some restrictions like repatriable and non-repatriable?

To keep you guys updated. I received a call today from passport agency that the money order that I sent was too much more that needed. And she took the payment using a credit card and said she will return the money order back to me.
