RFE was issued some time in April'04. But was replied in June'04 by my attorney. After RFE is replied, USCIS LUD changed saying my response was received. I went for Interim EAD after 90 days from my Notice Date (concurrent filing). No questions were asked and we got it.

Your present EAD is not affected in any way. AP may not be issued. For walk in AP, you may have to show valid reason for foreign travel (like death or serious illness back home)

You can do with out appointment also. Just walk in will do. Some offices are crowded, so you may have to go early in the morning

I had RFE on I-140. Replied by my attorney. After 90 days of I-140/765/485, I went to NY City USCIS office, they issued EAD without any problem

Please check, USCIS web site for your local USCIS office. You should go to your local office only. Offices in other areas, may not serve your area

Guys I went to NY City (26 Federal Plaza) office for Interim EAD for me and my wife. They issued with out any problems. Reached there around 5:20AM, got out by 3:00PM. I had an RFE on I-140, replied adn USCIS web site is also updated, saying received response to I-140 RFE

Do you guys know, weather local INS office will issue Interim EAD, if there is an RFE on I-140? I had an RFE on I-140 and replied and USCIS site is update with that. I just want to know weather I can get Interim EAD? I am planning to go to New York City office

Gyus My RFE is replied and it is updated on USCIS website in 2 days saying "we received your response to our request for evidence or information."
