Take the copy of approval email and they will stamp UR passport.. That is good as getting the actual card .. U can then travel wherever you want. Hopt this helps. Daruwala

If you have a birth certificate in hindi .. that is fine. Get it translated and attach an translated version with the original certificate. The translation can be done by anyone who knows hindi and english and should certify that in the end. If the embassy actually translated the original...

That does not work. If you do not have BC then get affidavit stating that Ur BC cannot be found and affidavits from parents or relatives about Ur DOB. ( At least 2) Good luck

GC is for future employment .. so even if they throw you out, its ok. The only thing is that they should not withdraw your application for next 2 months. As soon as you hit the 180 days mark -- send an application to USCIS. Your status is maintained - pending AOS .. as long as Ur employer...

Plus he needs a certificate -- stating that his birth certificate cannot be found. Affidavits from 2 persons is enough .. Parents or relatives are preffered.
