Pending 627
My I485 has been pending 627 days.
EB3 ROW.
PD 09/30/04.
I485 ND 07/31/07.
However the processing time for Texas is 07/18/07.
So my case will not be approved until this date moves beyond: 07/31/07.
We appear to have a confusion between the "Visa Bulletin" issued every month, for which Labor Certification priority date is used, and the Processing Times per processing centre for the application form filed.
As long as DOL receive your Labor Application (PERM) one year before your visa expires, you are able to apply for a green card.
So you need to file for Labor Certification before Dec 2007
I485 documentation now with lawyer for filing
Today I signed the necessary paperwork and delivered all associated documentation to my lawyer for filing I485.
Priority Date: 09/30/2004
Labor approved: 01/22/2007
I140 - Receipt Date: 05/04/2007 @ Texas. Pending approval.

My wife...
Let me qulify that:
Most people on an H4 have a chance to receive a green card if their spouse (on an H1B) applies. This is known as immigration through employment.
However that's not to say you couldn't obtain a grren card via the following methods:
Immigration through the Legal...
What you're suggesting doesn't make sense
As of 04/10 the USCIS letter says that of the 119,000 cases opened so far, 13,000 are for the US Masters cap. As such this cap will continue to be monitored. It doesn't say that any application received up to and including the 04/10 will be accepted...
If you have an L1A, you can skip Labor Certification.
You probably qualify as EB2.
You can file I140 & I485 without a priority date determined by Labor Certification.
You need to stick with your current employer because you're on an Intercompany transfer visa.
If you go to another employer...
