I recieved my Passport book today. The 12 day turn around time for routine service was impressive.

I have been tracking my application for 4 days now and everyday I get a different delivery date . It started at 5/17 and it went down to 5/12, 5/11 and today 4/26. What is up with this dates and can they go back up?

I applied via routine service at a post office on 4/8 right after the oath.

I became a citizen this morning. The ceremony was very short ~15min. It took around 1 hour to get everyone checked in and seated. I was amazed by the number of new citizens that weren't able to understand or follow simple instructions in English. Good luck everyone and thanks for all the help.

Yes... they can. There have been severeal other members in this forum that have their cases approved before the 5 year eligibility date.
