Can Asylee apply for VISA (without RTD) ?

HI Everyone:
I just granted asylum and get my new I-94 card, I have applied for RTD 2 months ago but didn't receive yet( USCIS processing time take 4-6 months), Can I apply for a Visa from another country during this time as an asylee?

I try to apply for a UK VISA but they refused me, they said I-94 car do not confirm lawful status in this country.
So do I must get RTD then can apply for a VISA? Please advise?

The Rtd is for re entry to the United States it has nothing to do with your UK visa application. Even if you are granted a visa you will still need to wait for your RTD since you do not have a green card yet. Y don't u wait till u have your green card then re apply for the visa

Remember most visas are issued based on country of origin , purpose of trip, funds etc ...Wait for the RTD because even if your NP is stamped with VISA your entry in US can be in jeopardy. Even with the RTD getting visas can be a little challenging but you can get visas Stamped if satisfy the Embassy you have valid reason to enter EU.
