Do they find out your self-employment during student visa after you apply for NIW?

I am a doctoral student with f1 in the US. I have as SSN and work as a graduate assistant and I am paid 14000 each year. I am not authorized to work off campus. Last year I started selling some stuff on eBay. I knew if I sell more than 20,000 each year my income will be reported to the IRS. So I was careful not to pass that limit. I also did NOT consider it as an employment. I just found out that my info will be sent to IRS with form 1099 because my total transactions are 20,045! Even though I have sold only 14000 but the shipping costs and refund amounts have made the total to 20,045! I am definitely going to pay the taxes for it in full but I am worried they may cancel my visa or reject my application for green card if they see my tax returns! Please help me!
