My wife is on a TN as a contractor and the salary/hours on her TN support letter is $70,000 per year, working 40 hrs per week. She does not have a "job offer" since she's hired as a contractor. This is all indicated on her TN support letter and was approved at the POE.
Her employer pays her via PayPal per project, therefore she does not receive regular pay stubs (ie every 2 weeks).
There's nothing indicating she won't be paid her full salary this year, but if business is slow she may not work as much until the next big project comes through where she'll likely make up for lost time by working more than 40 hrs+. On the other hand, if business is booming she may make more than the salary indicated on the TN support letter. Is this an issue, or am I overthinking it? Just trying to look out for her in this situation so that we don't run into problems later down the line.
There is nothing really to declare until the end of the year, when we can see if she's making more or less than expected — should we be taking any action here or just let it be?
