How would eb1 cutoff date affect my application?

My 140 eb1 petition was approved. But I opted for consular processing and am awaiting consular interview. Last communication from NVC said they are scheduling interview after the consular notify them their available dates (this happened on the beginning of 2016 June).

But now the eb1 cutoff date news is out, I wonder how would it affect my interview. Would the interview scheduling process stall like what would happen to 485 process? What should I expect?
