I am a international students currently and maintain a valid I-20 in school. However, my visa has been expired. I want to know that if I out of state for traveling, for example, Canada or Australia, within 2 weeks, should i renew my new visa first?
What if i lost the information of DS-160 to re-renew my visa in Canada or if I the new DS-160 form information, like parents name, is different with the original one, will they allow me to reentry U.S. with carrying the valid I-20? The third agent assisted me to fill the DS-160 form, so they didn't tell me what information they filled since i figured out that my parents name may be wrong.
