Hi, I applied for a Calif. original id card and driver license with my temporary work permit. At the DMV they told me that my application had to go to secondary review. I received my permanent residency a few days later. I am assuming my temporary work permit was invalid at the point I applied as my permanent residency was already in the mail.
The review process will take at least 60 days according to the DMV.
My questions are:
- is there any ways I can cancel my current application and just start over with my new document?
- am I allowed to drive with my European driver license in the meanwhile?
