Hi, I need some help, here is my situation:

I was an F1 student and applied for asylum here is my timeline:

1997 applied for asylum
1998 left the usa after situation improved in my country
1999 invited for asylum interview which I didn't attend (no longer in the states)
1999 invited to immigration judge (didn't attend not in america)
1999 ordered removed in absentia for failure to appear

I found all this info through Freedom of Information

In the freedom of information request, USCIS have my correct departure date for 1998
In the freedom of information request ICE seems to not know, and still looking for me to remove me

In 2015, I applied for B2 visa and got a 10 year visa after I disclosed all the above history, and had to prove to the consular officer when I left the USA in 1998.

One day after I got the visa, I called ICE and asked them if they have my correct departure date, and they said they are still looking for me, because they don't know I have left the USA.

My question is is it safe to travel with my visa now? Do you think that the info wasn't updated because it was just 1 day after I got the visa that I called them?
Any advice?

I wouldn't trust their system would be updated with your visa issuance. You need to make sure they acknowledge your departure and give you some kind of official proof.
