I have a question regarding citizenship I received GC on July, 2011 and my wife received GC on June, 2012.
I will be filing for Citizenship after completion of 5 years of GC and will start the process with an immigration lawyer early next year.
I will like to know if my wife is also eligible to file for citizenship along with me or she will have to wait for another year.
Some data : Both of us are India citizens. We have been living is US for past 15 years. We have been married for past 15 years. My wife was outside country when window for GC opened and therefore there was a delay in getting her GC by 1 year.
