New title = new TN?

Folks...if someone gets promoted in the same company but acquires a different title, does it necessitate a new TN? e.g. Manager --> Director

Not as long as you are still peforming the function of a professional in thesame TN category that you originally were approved for.
But be careful, TNs are not to perform "managerial" roles, which is strongly suggested by the example you chose.
I would prefer the example: Engineer --> Senior Engineer.
