Hi
I got my name change during the interview time of Naturalization. I just wanted to add last name of my husband. I didn't request it before while filing the application. but interview time when I spoke with the Interviewer and he added last name of my husband at that time and its printed on my Naturalization Certificate. Now I am applying for OCI and Renunciation Certificate and in the filing form they need proof but i dont have anything. They didn't provide any proof.
so what should i provide them as a proof?
Is Naturalization Certificate is enough/ Notarized name change

please help?

Thanks
Neelam

You didn't get a court document? Didn't you sign one? Very odd. I suggest you contact the court and ask them for a copy. Otherwise, this name change could be erroneous.

The court where you took your oath. You can also make an Infopass appointment at the CIS office where you were processed and ask them.

Hehe, that's USCIS. I find the US redundant, so I don't use it. We all know it's USCIS, and not the Irish CIS (the INIS), so why keep saying US?
