Hi,

I just have a quick question, Does USCIS IO uses arrival and entry dates based on the stamps on your passport or now they use dates given to them by the Customs and border protection CBP and USCIS IO uses dates given to them by CBP or will they just verify dates stamped on your passport.

I was just wondering as I dont have entry dates of one of the country that i visited so i was just checking? Like can i put any dates by making a best guess or shall i try to find the right date for that one trip that i made? I mean can the IO verify dates from the CBP or will he/she would only check on the passport ?

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

They'll mostly use information directly from CBP but they also look at stamps. You can indicate that a date is a guess.
