I-130 Approved, but Passport Expires soon...

Heya guys,

I-130 for my mom (she is overseas) was Approved few days ago.
I am waiting for Approval notice.

But I just found out that her Passport (where Visa will be placed) is expiring in couple weeks.

Its gonna take approx 2.5 months for Passport renewal.
Do we have that much time?

Takes several..4-6.. months after I-130 approval to Interview. You also have the option to add time till interview by delaying paying some fees.
Suggest you get working on passport renewal asap.
