Concurrent filing of I-130 and I-485

I remember reading it online that on I-485 Part 2, we were supposed to mark (A) for immediate relative. I am filing both i-130 and i-485 together for my mom. Should i check (A) or (h)?

It's (a). The wording a little confusing.

An immigrant petition giving me an immediately available immigrant visa number
that has been approved. (Attach a copy of the approval notice, or a relative, special
immigrant juvenile, or special immigrant military visa petition filed with this
application that will give you an immediately available visa number, if approved.)

the person says his application was denied because he marked (A). and he is given advice to mark (h) instead and write the explanation of "concurrently filed i-130".
was the form different back in 2009?

It should be (a). The vast majority of I-130 concurrent filing people fill it this way with no problems. I don't know what was the issue back in 2009; maybe the forms were different. Of course, (h) is not "wrong", because "other" covers anything, so it will also work.
