I recently arrived with an immigrant diversity visa & I have sent back my green card with I-90 for replacement as it has a name spelling error due to uscis mistake. Now I would like to return back to my home country for a few months, would it be possibe to travel with the immigrant visa on my passport it says valid for one yr I-551 up on endorsement, but the visa it self has a six month validity and it will be expiring next month.and Im worried the airline and immigration from home country might consider it as an expired visa up on departure...would it be possibel to get from uscis a stamp to extend the visa validity before i depart through infopass...if anyone has any adivse on this i would really appricate it.

The temporary visa in your passport covers you to leave for up to one year. The validity of 6 months was important only for the first entry.
