Hello,everyone...
I am posting for my girlfriend. She got married on July 5th. and they want to apply for a green card. Her husband is an American citizen. She is currently under H1B visa working for a charter school. Her H1 expires in September and she wants to go ahead and apply for a green card. Due to their jobs, they will live in the same residence for 4 days per week and for the rest she will have to commute 2 hours for her job. She lives in North Carolina and her husband lives in Virginia. They did not live together before getting married, therefore they do not have documents on both name. He is a pastor and his church does not allow him to live with a woman unless he is married to her.
Long story short...what documents should they submit to show that their marriage is genuine?
Thank you for your time.

They can at least open some joint bank accounts, put each other on other financial things like credit cards and insurance, and put each other as beneficiaries on other accounts. They can have photos of the relationship, and they can have affidavits from friends. And hopefully by the time of the interview, they will have more stuff.
