Hi,
I sponsored my parents for separate GCs a while back (i-485 AOS in the US, not consular processing). My mother's GC came through without much trouble. My father's GC, though, has not yet come through. He had an interview here in San Jose in Jan 2014. The officer sent the case for review, but said the GC should come through within a couple of months. It has been 6 months since then. We have written to the local office without any response. Has anybody on this forum had similar experiences?
