Hi.I recently became a US citizen. Now I can sponsor green card for my parents.I have a brother who is 20(minor).I have been told that I cant sponsor my brother with my parents even though he is a minor. So i have to file a case seperately for my brother and it will take him many years to get a visa.I was wondering if its possible for my parents to file for my brother once they come to the US and receive their green card. Can this speed up the process???

I am very interested in hearing the responses! I am currently in the process of applying for N-400 and I would like to sponsor my brother when I become USC.

Thanks

Yes, your parents can sponsor him, but you and they better HURRY UP because if he turns 21 before they get green cards and file for him, he will go into the slower F2B category. If they file before he's 21, he has a chance to stay in F2A (although he may still age out if it takes a couple years for the priority date to become current).
