Labor Cert is for future job . You don't have to be employed. After 1140 approval, AOS can be filed provided that visa dates are current. I think once you apply for AOS, EAD comes through in 3 months. EAD means you can work for any number of jobs besides orginal job. skt

Yeah by all means. I did the same thing. I started working on L2 and then swicthed to H1B. Guess what you will get 6 more yearson H1B. time period on L2 would not be counted toward to H1b time. Hope this helps. SKT :)

Yes sure you can apply for EAD with L1 receipt and apply for renewal of EAD online. It may take sometime for you to get renewal EAD but I think you can continue working if you have EAD receipt from INS I hope this helps
