Apply for AP and Visa renewal in US ASAP .. My openion: You can continue working without stamping, on a vlaid H1. Apply for AP if you think you may have problems in renewing visa India, for safeside. I am sure you will have to renew it a couple of times before 485 is approved. Not very...

any Jan 2003 I140 s ?? according to www.immigrationwatch.com, only about 90 cases I140 are untouched so far with ND/RD Jan 2003. I am one of you with EAC0308751* EAD EAC04044* AP EAC04044* any comments on I140/EAD/AP approval dates ??

I140 pending since Jan 25 2003 (EB2 - LC Substitution), EAD/I131 have been pending since Dec 04 , 2003 ( 90days ). any suggestion when EAD/I131s are going to get approved ? What is happening in VSC ?

Mr. Mills, long time no see .. Happy New Year, What happens a person who has H1 Extension and AP are filed and both pending, leaves the US ? Can he come back after H1 is approved and visa is granted ? What happens if cancels the filed AP before leaving the US hoping to return...

my point is AP should be easily issued at local USCIS ! They just need to make sure that 485 is pending to issue AP. USCIS local offices should be able to issue AP withouht much hassle and not just for emergencies. That would solve some backlog issues at the processing centers.

VSC is processing OCT2003 AP applications .. it is upto you to believe or not ..

Just came to know from a reliable source that VSC is not processing I131 (Advanced Parole) due to shortage of certain stationary. No ETA at this time. and No alternative suggested. Anyone heard about this ?

Apply AP; it is only $100 and You will not have problems to travel if H1 extension is delayed.

Apply 485/EAD/131 after return .. Otherwise you have to wait to leave the US, until atleast AP is approved.

Using EAD is saving H1 time unless 6yrs completed. Yes. I forgot about that. I am in the 8th year anyway. Thanks for correction.
