cp Domplo: The consulate pretty much schedules the date of interview if the paperwork is in order. However, as I mentioned, their communication abilities leave much to be desired.

Thanks Domplo, It took just under 3 months for interview after case acceptance. This was during the Holidays, yours may be slightly quicker. Keep calling the consulate, i didn't even receive the packet 4 !!

Nvc my I-140 was approved but petition never sent to NVC (despite our clearly stating CP intent on the I-140 petition!!). i am told that the (then) INS assumed that since i was a resident in the US, i intended to go via the AOS route. frustrating!!

dec interview hi sachin: my case reached sep 11, i called oct 20 they said interview will be likely in feb 2004! however, last week i received packet 3 dated Oct 8, go figure! maybe you should call as well and see what they say.
