Congratulations, on receiving your greeen card. I have a question about your timeline on your green card. You case number is 2010AS25XXX whihc became current in August, but you state that you sent in your I-485 application on 5/18/2010 and USCIS accepted it on 5/18/2010.
My question is through advance notifications of cut off dates, we can know what will be current roughly about 45 days ahead of time. USCIS strictly says that they will reject applications from people who apply before their case becomes current. It will be great if you can add some light to this. Also did you need a financial sponsor letter when you applied for you green card. I heard you need someone in the US who can be financial sponsor for you. I am on a student visa currently.
