I am in the same situation as you. You posted that you were on Kaplan and your Kaplan I20 expired and were in the 60-day period. Did you inquire and confirm eventually if the F1 cap-gap rule that came out in April 08 did apply to your case ?

Please let me know as its very important for me to know.
