I have received my Actual card after approval in mid May. Wife has not received it though approved and stamped with me. When she called, IIO said that we have to fax our enquiry to a certail number. Will this help or should we just wait

I have received my card after approval in mid May. Wife has not received it though approved and stamped with me. When she called, IIO said that we have to fax our enquiry to a certail number. Someone in the same boat. I hope a closure is brought to this nonsense soon.

Gurus I received the approval for my green card and got my passport stamped around May 15th. I am waiting for my actual card. AVM says that my Alien Registration or GC processing is complete and a card will be mailed to me soon (or something to that effect). How far am I from receiving my card...

Last 2 days have been pretty bad @ DOL !! Any ideas whats happening or is it just summer ;-) -Hope_For_GC

SamSanjay, I think your lawyer could be right as I have my receipt date as 10/01/2001, and I still haven\'t have heard anything.

THIS SUCKS !!!! The speed in which DOL is processing is tooo damn slow. Any reasons why this is happening ????

Thanks for the info That was my first guess that I-94 was taken away at the time of stamping but my wife\'s passport still had I-94 after stamping. That is why I got confused. But as you folks have verified I don\'t need it any more. Thanks. Isn\'t this web site awesome?
