thank you all... oct '02, our cases seem to be following a similar timeline. the first LUD change after FP was Dec 29th - then everyday until Jan 4th. finally it changed on the 14th with approval. cheers..

did mine on dec 22nd... LUD changed for the first time after 7 days and then every day for the next 6... then it stopped and am in a wait loop since...

i too had that doubt (wed/sat only) because thats what the notice suggested - but apparently, its not a requirement - as long as you go early in the morning... good luck !

if cap is a bottleneck, pls keep in mind cap-exempt employment options - universities, ngos etc... good luck...

FP update and question... got FP notice on Dec 13th for Jan 26th - (I-485 ND 16 Sep 2002) brief history - had contacted local congressman in first week of nov. - recd response from his office, that FP is being scheduled and that i should receive a response within 90 days... am planning...

a friend of mine got laid off today. her last day is aug 31st. she also holds a concurrent H1B at a univ as an adjunct faculty but that is not a "full-time" position. what are her options ? its a bit of a panic question and i apologize if its been asked before - in which case, could you...
