Hello, I just heard on the AVM at VSC that my case was transferred to the local INS office in New York. Will anybody who has had the same experience before, share what happens now. How long is the wait before the interview and what happens at the interview............. Thanks.....

I-485 approval October 2001 You\'re right. It cant be true, My papers were recd by VSC on sept 24 and I havent gotton my approval as yet. Anybody has any idea of what month is VSC processing for?

NYC INS stamping Federal plaza building MaryT, INS at NYC is stamping passports now. The only reason they did not do it briefly in May was because they did not have enough resources to work on the backlog of cases with them. What they should have told you was to come back again in 2 wks time...
